I'm such a dork, but I learned how to make those little symbols (and lots more!) this week on the computer! I know, I know, I'm a dork. You press down the Alt key and while you're doing that, you press one of the numbers on the keypad to the right of the keyboard (not the numbers above the letters but the ones to the right of the letters.) And voila! Little shapes appear! It's so exciting (that makes me sound like I have no life, but anyway...it's the little things, people.) I like the music notes and how the smileys are racially aware...hahahaha.
On a more serious note, on Monday, I will be heading back to school to work one-on-one with a student at the christian school I worked at prior to having Henry. I'll be there Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for two hours in the morning. What's great is that Henry gets to stay with me (it's the only way I agreed to do this!) We'll be in the nursery, and so there are toys for him to play with and a diaper changing station, should I need it. I'll be teaching Math and English. I'm praying that this works well and glorifies God in the process. I'll have to blog next week on how it's going!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Good luck on your new
Good luck on your new ministry beginning on Monday! It will be a big change for you and Henry but Henry will adjust just fine to his new surroundings, as long as he can see his mama! You will do a great job, and I am so thankful that you have this opportunity to teach part time. It will reveal many things to you.
I may have my own students do the Alt key combination with the numbers on the key pad! That would be interesting to them! Thank you for telling us about your discovery using the keyboard!
I love you! Love forever, Mom
yikes
That sounds a little crazy, but I am sure if anyone can do you can do it! I hope all goes well.
What a big change for you!
What a big change for you! That's so wonderful Henry will be close by too. Prayers it goes wonderfully.
