Here's a blog post I came across today that made me smile:

It's all about breastfeeding and how it's normal to do so. I loved it! While I try not to be some crazy lady flopping my boobs everywhere for the whole world to see just so I can say, "Look at me! I breastfeed!" I do think it's the best nourishment for our little ones. And I think if you can do it, you should. There are, of course, special cases where things just don't work out, and for those women who tried and tried and tried, and their babies just couldn't/wouldn't do it, I say, "Good for you for trying!" And then I will smile. I'm sure you're imagining this right now. :o) <-- See there, it is!
Anyway, check out the blog post if you're interested. There's nothing crass or rude in there; some of her blog posts have a few words in there, but this one is tame. But it's great and funny, and if everyone could see how normal nursing is, maybe more women would try it.

The breastfeeding blog was great!
Breastfeeding is so convenient -- the milk is ready anytime the little one is hungry and there is no waiting for a bottle to be prepared. It is just the right temperature all the time. There isn't anything sweeter than having your little one contentedly nursing and gazing up at your face with an adoring look. And the first time your baby stops nursing and looks up at you and smiles, with milk running down his/her chin, your heart just fills up with love!! Breastfeeding doesn't work for everyone, for one reason or other, but it really is an experience that is like no other!! It is always so joyful to watch Henry nursing and see his little head bobbing up and down as he suckles. I know he is really loving his connection with you when he starts kicking his little foot from side to side. I love you and the great start you have given Henry by breastfeeding! I am glad that you had such a good lactation nurse in the hospital when he was born. I love you so much! Love forever, Mom
