Happy Mother's Day to all the moms I know! 

My day started with a little boy snuggled up to me nursing while he placed his colder-than-ice feet on my legs.  That'll wake you up in the morning.  But it was sweet because the three of us all snuggled up under the covers while Henry ate his fill.  It was chilly this morning, so the comforter was quite welcome.

John took Henry with him for coffee with his dad and grandpa while I got ready for church.  I decided to make pancakes for breakfast as a surprise for John.  Apple cinnamon pancakes are delicious, but next time I make them I will soften the apples beforehand because soft pancakes with semi-crunchy apples is.....interesting.

Church was great.  Preacher B brought an excellent message about moms, probably the best I've ever heard.  While Henry napped, John and I ate lunch and enjoyed our time together.  I'm sure the rest of the afternoon will be just as good as the beginning of the day!
