Whenever I lay Henry down for a nap or bedtime, I always say something like, "I love you, Henry.  Night night."  Or sometimes I use "nap nap" instead if it's a nap.  That was John's idea, and it's cute, so I use it, too.

Lately, Henry will say, "Night night" in response, even if it's just a nap.  Sometimes he'll even say it before we nurse, and if I just lay him down, he turns his cute little head back and forth, back and forth, and goes off to sleep.

Today, at nap time, though, Henry added to his statement.

I said, "I love you, Henry.  Night night."

He said, "Luh ooh, Mommy.  Nigh nigh."  Translation: "Love you, Mommy.  Night night."
