This is too cute not to share:

Last night, as Henry was nursing before bed, he suddenly unlatched and looked at me with pursed lips.  It took me a minute to figure out what he wanted, but then it hit me--he wants to give me a kiss!  So I leaned my face down to him and he kissed my cheek.  Then he smiled and latched back on. 

My precious boy, I love you so.

 MWAH! Oh the joy of Henry's show of affection and contentment!!  What a beautiful picture or movie that would have made!!  Thank you for sharing this lovely expression of love that Henry did --  it is an early Happy Mother's Day from him!!  I love you all so much!  Love forever, Mom

I wish so much that the loving emotions of a one to two year old were present at birth?  It would make midnight feedings and poopy diapers so much easier.  But, I think it is precious whenever it starts... So sweet and makes those first weeks all worth it a million times over!

I totally agree with you on that.  But I guess the having to wait for the love must be how God feels until we are old enough to accept His offer of salvation.  Wow.  He must feel awesome when we do that!  :o)
