Homeschooling AND making a toddler feel loved AND keeping the house from imploding AND driving to soccer games is probably the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I am tired most of the time and feel like I give and give all day without getting much back in return. Such is the life of a mommy, I guess.
But sometimes there are funny things. Like today. We were driving home from Concord where Miss B's soccer game was today. My car was full...her grandpa and cousin, Miss B, me, Henry, and our next door neighbor. We're headed up I-85 when Miss B points towards the other lane and says, "Look at that car! On wheels!" And I said, "Yes all the cars have wheels" and we all busted out laughing. Maybe you had to be there, but it was hilarious. We had to explain to her that all the cars on the road had wheels. She tends to try to describe things with the following words: stuff, things, thingy. Not too descriptive there, babe.
Henry's favorite words right now are "no" and "mine." Ahh, the joys of a toddler. He says no even when he means yes. But he is cute, and I love him so.
