I am tired.  Henry and I slept on the couch last night because he kept waking up to nurse, and it was just easier to sleep on the couch while he nursed and then switch sides when he woke back up hungry.  My couch is comfortable, don't get me wrong, but my bed is way more comfortable than the couch.  I don't know if Henry is trying to get some more teeth or what, but the fussiness and wanting to nurse alot at night has got to stop soon.  This mommy needs a continuous night's sleep...and quick!

On a bright note, I am getting our pictures tomorrow that we had made a couple Saturdays ago.  I'm so excited to see what they look like!  Then, we're heading to my parent's house, and my mom and I are going to Hobby Lobby (with Henry in tow, of course!)  I need to get fabric for shepherd's costumes for the church Christmas play. 

I've decided to make Henry's first birthday cake.  His birthday isn't for another couple months, but I want to make a two tiered cake, with two different size circles.  I bought cardboard cake circles for the cake to sit on, and I bought food coloring for icing, and one of those spatulas to ice the cake with.  My mom is going to let me borrow a turn table to frost the cake on (thanks Mom!)  I need to make a practice cake beforehand, but I don't want to have to eat a huge cake, so I'm thinking of telling John's family about it and seeing if they want it.  I will pawn my cake off on them!  :o)

I am tutoring a former student of mine on Wednesday afternoons, starting today.  I don't know how I'm going to do it with Henry wanting to be all over me.  I've told her that this isn't a "play with Henry" time, but I'm afraid I'll have to be constantly reminding her of this.  I'm sure I'm overanalyzing it, and I know I just need to pray and ask God to be in charge of it and over the whole situation....there, done!  Now I can stop worrying--thought that's easier said than done!
